This template produces a link to a template deletion discussion and dates and links for display on the Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Holding cell.
Usage
{{tfdl|template name|log date (YYYY Month DD)}}- Example:

- Optional parameters
|simple=for suppressing all the extra stuff and just producing a link to the template discussion.- Example:
{{tfdl|Non-administrator observation|2012 April 9|simple=1}} - Non-administrator observation
- Example:
|section=for when the section on the TfD log page is different than the template's name.- Example:
{{tfdl|Infobox boron|2012 April 3|section=Periodic table infobox templates}} - 2012 April 3 – Infobox boron ( links | transclusions | talk | doc | sandbox | testcases )
- Example:
|delete=for the "Ready for deletion" section of the holding cell (just shows redirects instead of all links).- Example:

|extra=for adding links to the list in parentheses (for example an associated category link). Separate links with{{!}}.- Example:
