For notifying people that they're under an SPI investigation, see Template:Socksuspectnotice

{{SPI-notice}} produces the following notice:

Usage

This template should be substituted and it takes one or two parameters.

Syntax:

{{subst:SPI-notice|username|SPI discussion [optional]}}

This template should only be used as an addendum to comments left by users currently being investigated at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations.

Parameters

|1=username

Username or IP address of the user who is currently being investigated as a sock.

|2=discussion

Name of the Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations subpage for the user's investigation discussion. Defaults to username parameter if not provided.

Examples

If the user and SPI discussion subpage have the same name, use the following format, placed next to their signature:

If the user and SPI discussion subpage have different names, use the following format, placed next to their signature:

{{subst:SPI-notice|Place holder|Example}}
