Usage
This is a template to notify a relevant WikiProject of a requested merger discussion in order to engage editors to help establish a consensus.
To use, place {{subst:MERGE notification|SOURCEPAGE|DESTINATIONPAGE}} on the required page (i. e. the WikiProject talk page or other place where you want to place the notification), where the item in uppercase letters is replaced by the relevant value.
- The parameter
DESTINATIONPAGEis for the location of the merger discussion. Format like a regular link without brackets.

SOURCEPAGEis the name of the article or page requested to be merged from.DESTINATIONPAGEis the proposed location whereSOURCEPAGEis to be merged.SECTIONis the section on the talk page where the merge proposal is located.TALK_PAGEis the talk page where the merger discussion is happening. This parameter is only necessary if the talk page of the discussion is NOT the talk page of the page referenced in theDESTINATIONPAGEparameter.
