Usage

Syntax is changing. While changeover is underway, both old and versions are supported

Old syntax, with parameters

Example: for Category:2023 in Africa, enter

{{Year in continent category|2|0|2|3|Africa}}

New syntax, without parameters

Example: for Category:2023 in Africa, enter {{Year in continent category}}

No parameters needed
