Template:Year in continent/link

This template is used by "Year in continent" templates such as {{Year in Europe}} and should not be used directly.

This template can take the following parameters:

• {{{1}}}: the year
• {{{2}}}: the country name as used in article names
• {{{disp}}}: display name, if the article country name is disambiguated
• {{{the}}}: text in front of country name in links (usually "the")
• {{{link}}}: the value of the passed-through country-specific parameter, with a diamond character ("♦") as default value
