This template creates a documentation header for regional user categories. This template is commonly used in a "Template:User Region/cat" category documentation template.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wiki markup at the top of the regional user category:

{{User category header|option|region|project|memlist}}

where:

• option is the type of regional user category:
  • 1 for a "Wikipedians in Region" category. (default)
  • 2 for a "Regional Wikipedians" or "Wikipedians from Region" category.
  • 3 for a "Regional ancestry Wikipedians" category.
  • 4 for a "Wikipedians interested in Region" category.
  • 5 for a "WikiProject Region members", "Region work group members", or "Region task force members" category.
  • 6 for a "WikiProject Region participants", "Region work group participants", or "Region task force participants" category.
• region is the region name linked to the region article.
• project is the project name linked to the regional WikiProject, work group, or task force.
• memlist is the location of the regional project member or participant list, if any.
• type= is the optional type of contents:
  • type=user user pages only.
  • type=subcat subcategories only.
  • type=both either user pages or subcategories. (default)
• number= is the optional number of Wikitext options:
  • number=1 only one Wikitext option.
  • number=2 two Wikitext options.
  • number=more more than two Wikitext options. (default)

This template should be followed by a Template:yy list with the category link and the userbox templates that link to the category.
