Template:UWG/doc

This category header template‎ displays a description of a WikiProject work group membership category, instructions, and a table of user templates that add user pages to the category.

Use

To use this template, place the following Wiki markup expression at the top of the work group membership category:

{{UWG|WikiProject|ut=|template1|...|template25}}

where:

• WikiProject is the required primary WikiProject base name.
• tc= is an optional work group templates category base name. (Seldom required.)
• template1|...|template25 – up to 25 optional user template names. (The Template: prefix is not required.)

Restriction

This template may only be used in a WikiProject work group membership category with a name of the form Category:Name work group (members/participants/volunteers).

Example

The following Wiki markup expression:

{{UWG|Polynesia|User American Samoa WG}}

produces the following documentation:

This WikiProject work group membership category comprises the user pages of Wikipedians who are active members of the American Samoa work group of WikiProject Polynesia.

To join, place your user name on the American Samoa work group members list, and place one or more of the following Wikitext expressions on your user page:

{{User American Samoa WG}}	This user is a member of the American Samoa work group.
