This template is designed for use in the references section of articles which incorporate public domain material from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) for features in Antarctica.

The template will categorize articles that include it into Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the USGS Geographic Names Information System.

Usage

{{USGS gazetteer}}

The Antarctica ID and Feature name can be found in the GNIS entry. If the |name= parameter is not specified, then the template will use the pagename by default. If the |id= parameter is not specified, the template will use an ID from Wikidata or link to the GNIS Query Form For Antarctica.
