This template is used to configure the articles found in the Selected picture section found on most Wikipedia Portal main pages. Used it on the article pages that are linked to the Selected picture sub-page, e.g. Portal:Foo/Selected picture/1. For the quickest and easiest way to create the Portal:Foo/Selected bar sub-page and related article links, use one of the {{Numbered subpages}} templates.

Usage
Simple usage

Parameters
It is unnecessary to include braces, quotation marks or other wiki-markup in the template. The |text= and |source= fields do allow the use of wiki-markup at the contributor's discretion.
|image=
- Filename of the image.
|size=
- Sets the image size, if left out or left blank it will default to 250px.
|caption=
,|link=
- Used to create a big text caption under the image.
|link=
must be a valid article,|caption=
is free-style text. Note that|caption=
will not be shown if|link=
is specified; instead,|caption=
will become the alt text for the image. |location=
- Location of gallery on Wikipedia, optional.
|credit=
- Use this to credit the source or photographer that created the image
|text=
- A brief summary of the subject, positioned below the image.
|page=
- Set an auxiliary page for the More selected foo if the sub page is at another location such as Selected image.
|archive=
- Using this field with a value of no will remove the More selected pictures link in the lower left corner. Use this field if you are using the |footer= parameter in the {{random box-header subpage}} template on the main portal page.
