Usage
Place {{On this day|date1=2009-02-22|oldid1=272605053}} on an article's talk page to produce the following message:
 | A fact from this article was featured on Wikipedia's Main Page in the On this day section on February 22, 2009. |
If the page has been featured on multiple dates, use additional date# and oldid# parameters:
| A fact from this article was featured on Wikipedia's Main Page in the On this day section on February 22, 2005, February 22, 2006, February 22, 2007, February 22, 2008, and February 22, 2009. |
If 10 or more dates are given, the specific dates are hidden:

Dates should be entered in YYYY-MM-DD format; they are reformatted appropriately for display.
