The {{LibraryThing work}} template is a convenience template used to create an external link to a work, such as a book or sound recording, at LibraryThing. Its use makes linking to LibraryThing cleaner and more uniform.
Usage
If no second parameter (or no |name= parameter) is specified then {{PAGENAME}}, the name of the article, is used for the title of the link (see first example). If the name of the article is unsuitable (e.g. "The Godfather (novel)") then a second parameter (or |name= parameter) can be specified.

- {{LibraryThing work}} → LibraryThing work at LibraryThing (pulls data from Wikidata when used on the relevant page)
- {{LibraryThing work|4808}} → LibraryThing work at LibraryThing
- {{LibraryThing work|4808|The Godfather}} → The Godfather at LibraryThing
- {{LibraryThing work|id=4808|name=The Godfather}} → The Godfather at LibraryThing
