This template links to the most recent AfD discussion for a given article. Optional display text may be specified. For pages without an AfD, a warning message is displayed.

Examples
Article with no AfDs: {{latestAfD|Cheese}} → Warning: No AfD discussion exists for the linked article.
Article with one AfD: {{latestAfD|Horseplay (band)}} → Warning: No AfD discussion exists for the linked article.
Article with several AfDs: {{latestAfD|Angela Beesley}} → Warning: No AfD discussion exists for the linked article.
Note: This template relies on AfDs following the standard naming convention. AfDs not adhering to the convention will not be detected.
