Usage
When supplied with an HGNC ID number, this template creates a link to the corresponding gene entry (i.e., symbol report page) for the HGNC ID on the HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee website (https://www.genenames.org/).
Syntax

Example
To link the HGNC gene symbol report for TAAR1 (ID: HGNC:17734 → ID number: 17734), use the syntax {{HGNC|17734}}, which will display as HGNC:17734.
