This template enables editors to add a European Case Law Identifier (ECLI) to a citation.
The template currently works for the following ECLIs:

Abbreviation | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| European Union | EU | all decisions of all courts |
| European Patent Office | EP | all decisions of the Board of Appeal |
| Council of Europe | CE | all decisions the European Court of Human Rights |
| France | FR | Conseil constitutionnel, Conseil d'État, Cour de cassation, Tribunal des conflits |
| Germany | DE | Only issued for Bundesverwaltungsgericht decisions. |
| The Netherlands | NL | all published decisions (all courts) |
| Slovakia | SK | |
| Slovenia | SI | |
| Spain | ES | all published decisions (since 1850) |

The template takes the following parameters:
