Usage

This template creates a {{cite web}} citation to New South Wales Heritage Database and the Heritage Office on the State Heritage Inventory, a searchable reference source on the heritage places that are not listed on any active international or Commonwealth register, or the New South Wales State Heritage Register in Australia.

There is no error checking. Specifying an incorrect ID will result in a link to a non-existing record.

Mandatory parameters

There are two mandatory unnamed parameters

1. Place ID number. It is found at the end of the URL.
2. A title. If empty it defaults to BASEPAGENAME.

Example

For example, the Glover cottages record can be referenced using

{{cite NSW HD|2423504|Terrace Group "Glover Cottages" Including Interiors}}

resulting in:

"Glover cottages". New South Wales Heritage Database. Office of Environment and Heritage.

Optional parameters

The optional parameters are:

• The New South Wales Heritage Database (NSW HD) File number can be specified using the optional fn field
• In addition, the access date can be specified using the |access-date= parameter.

Harvard style referencing

This template provides a simple Harvard style reference, using HD followed by the ID number. For example, to reference the Glover cottages, use {{sfn|HD2423504}} or {{harvnb|HD2423504}}, as appropriate. Year referencing is not supported at this time.
