This is a helper template for {{Certification Table Entry}}, see the meaning of all parameters there. The parameters used are:

• |footnote=: Overrides all parameters and sets the footnote directly. Can be sales/shipments/streaming/streamsonly

The rest of the parameters are:

• |region=
• |type= (which can be album/single/video/jazz/compilation/videosingle/ringtone/EP)
• |certyear=, |certmonth=, |certday=
• |relyear=, |relmonth=, |relday=
• |Spanish=
• |digital=
• |streamsonly=

It returns the correct footnote symbol that specificity if this is a sales threshold, a shipments threshold, a streaming/sales threshold, based on this list.

The symbols used are:

Symbol	Meaning
*	sales (including digital)
^	shipments
	streaming only
	sales+streaming
