Parameter | Description | Type | Status | |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | first parameter | Specifies which user has been impersonated and creates a link to that individual's user page if it exists.
| String | required |
possible | second parameter | If completed with the word 'yes', this will mark the account as only a possible impersonator and will use the wording 'because they are suspected of attempting to impersonate' rather than 'for attempting to impersonate'; being left out or having any other entry results in the template using the stronger, second wording
| String | optional |
evidence | third parameter | This parameter allows a user to provide evidence of the suspected impersonation, and will add the text 'as established by' followed by any text entered for the parameter (presumably to a link that shows this evidence)
| String | optional |
Example of use for an imaginary account called XYZ being impersonated by another account for which there is evidence of impersonation might be written thus:
{{blocked impersonator|possible=|evidence=this [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template%3ASubstitution%2Fdoc&type=revision&diff=750536073&oldid=750535685 diff]}}
which will then present as this when saved:
