This template creates miniature timescales for usage in describing evolution of clades
Parameters
|period=- Selects the timeframe to be displayed (see below)|left=optional - Sets the left padding of the timeline (in em)|labels=optional - Sets geological time labels to be displayed (era, period, epoch, age)
Period options:
- cenozoic not functional - displays entire Cenozoic timescale
- quaternary not functional - displays Quaternary timescale
- neogene not functional - displays Neogene timescale
- paleogene not functional - displays Paleogene timescale
- cenozoicmesozoic not functional - displays Early Cretaceous to Quaternary timescale
- mesozoic currently functional - displays Mesozoic timescale
- cretaceous currently functional - displays Cretaceous timescale
- late cretaceous currently functional - displays Late Cretaceous timescale
- early cretaceous currently functional - displays Early Cretaceous timescale
- jurassiccretaceous not functional - displays Jurassic and Cretaceous timescales
- jurassic currently functional - displays Jurassic timescale
- triassic currently functional - displays Triassic timescale
