Temporary note
As of August 2016, most of links to NOAA used the old style broken URLs, without this template. For example:
ftp://dossier.ogp.noaa.gov/GCOS/WMO-Normals/RA-I/SC/63980.TXT
This has changed on the NOAA website to:
ftp://ftp.atdd.noaa.gov/pub/GCOS/WMO-Normals/RA-I/SC/63980.TXT
Links should be updated, applying this template in the process: example diff.
Usage
Template is used for linking to sources for climate statistics, on the NOAA ftp site.
|id=– slug of NOAA page URL|title=– text to display; if no value is entered, defaults to page name with suffix " Climate Normals"|access-date=– for use in a citation
