This template is for creating simple barnstar templates, including documentation. It was based on User:Kingpin13/How to create a barnstar/Template template.
Before using this template, create a barnstar image using these guidelines. Typically these images are based on Original Barnstar Hires.png.
Usage
This template should always be substituted. Use {{subst:Barnstar maker|your image here|Title of your barnstar|Topic}} to create a new barnstar.
You will want to create it at a new page in template namespace. For example, if you want to create a "Pickle Barnstar" then you want to go to Template:Pickle Barnstar and use the code for this template at that page.
The first parameter is the name of the image file. This will appear in the left side of the box. Do not include the File: prefix. Also omit any brackets. The size will be set automatically to a standard 100px.
The second parameter is the name of the barnstar, which will appear in the top part of the box. It does not have to match the name of the template page.
The third and final parameter is the topic. This is used for the template documentation, and will not appear in the template itself. Depending on the capitalization used in the name of the related WikiProject, this may need cleanup after you use the template.
