This template is intended for navigation to the prior and next tip for the daily pages of Wikipedia:Tip of the day, e.g. Wikipedia:Tip of the day/December 9. It was created in response to Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 142#Tip-of-the-Day template bug (permanent link)
Usage

If no parameter is given then the current date is used. Always give a date on the daily pages.
