Usage

For use in editnotices. Editnotices using it appear in Category:Pages with policy or guideline editnotice‎

Takes one parameter, type, for the piping of the "policy or guideline" link, intended to be either "policy" or "guideline".

Example:

{{Policy or guideline editnotice|type=policy}} produces: ...documents an English Wikipedia policy...
{{Policy or guideline editnotice|type=guideline}} produces: ...documents an English Wikipedia guideline...

The parameter is optional, and if omitted the link is piped as "policy or guideline".

Hide this editnotice

To allow users to hide this editnotice wherever it appears, it has the HTML ID policy-guideline-editnotice. See WP:CSSHIDE.
