Template:PIE
Revision as of 08:59, 23 February 2022 by Wikipedia>Jochem van Hees (Moved lang attribute to an inner span tag; see Template talk:Lang#Lang and title param)
{{{1}}}
Template to mark strings in the Proto-Indo-European language, for example: ''{{PIE|rēḱs deiwos-kʷe}}''
→ rēḱs deiwos-kʷe
As can be seen from the example above, this template does not cause its content to be set in italics, so text should be italicised around this template, per MOS:FOREIGNITALIC.
This template forces whitespace not to wrap. To use this template for more than a few words, set |wrap=normal
to allow word-wrapping.
