IMPORTANT FEATURE
Using
{{PD-US-expired-abroad|out_of_copyright_in=YEAR}}
will automatically ask for the image to be moved to commons at the appropriate time. Remember that copyright expires at the start of the year after. For instance, an author who died in 1954 in a country with a copyright term of life+70 goes out of copyright - not 70 years after their date of death, in 2024, but at the start of 2025.
