Usage

{{ODNBsub}} can be used without parameter. If used in conjunction with a {{cite web}} (or similar) or {{citation}} template, it should be placed between the closing brackets of the template and the </ref> tag, in the same way as with {{subscription required}}.

• {{ODNBsub}} generates the note to be used in a sentence → (subscription or UK public library membership required)
• {{ODNBsub|sentence=yes}} generates the note being a proper sentence → (Subscription or UK public library membership required.)
