This template is a shortcut template of sorts. Nvbt stands for "national volleyball team". It is used thus:
[[John Gordon Perrin]] played for {{nvbt|CAN}}.
which comes out as:
- John Gordon Perrin played for Template:Country team.
What it does
In the example given above, the wikilink 'Template:Country team' links to the article about the national volleyball team. Not to the article about the country.
