This is a documentation subpage for Template:Dutch municipality.

Parameters:

template = {{subst:PAGENAME}} (required, allows for the v/d/e links to work)
former = set to "true" for former municipalities
name = name of municipality (required)
cities = Cities/towns (optional)
villages = villages (optional)
hamlets = hamlets (optional)
province (optional); this is used to create a link to the page "List of cities, towns and villages in province", so the name should correspond to the title of the page; in particular: use "Dutch Limburg" or "Limburg (Netherlands)" for Limburg
