Purpose

Provides an easy way to create a link in articles referring to the Yosemite Decimal System. The system is often referred to in articles about mountains and mountaineering. See {{Infobox mountain}}.

Usage

[[Hiking|Trail hike]], {{YDS|1}} --> Trail hike, class 1

[[Scrambling|Scramble]], {{YDS|2}} --> Scramble, class 2

[[Exposure (heights)|Exposed]] [[Scrambling|Scramble]], {{YDS|3}} --> Exposed Scramble, class 3
