Purpose
The purpose of the {{Universe navboxes}} template is to provide a structure to ease navigation between the many space- and universe-related navigation templates. Feel free to restructure it to add further clarity.
Templates using the classes class=navbox ({{navbox}}) or class=nomobile ({{sidebar}}) are not displayed on the mobile web site of English Wikipedia. Mobile page views account for approximately 63% of all page views (90-day average as of March 2022[update]).
Collapsible options
- This template includes collapsible groups/sections. When it first appears, one of these groups/sections may be set to be visible ("expanded") while the others remain hidden ("collapsed") apart from their titlebars. To achieve this, include the parameter
|namewhere name is one of the following words that identify the groups/sections (omit any speech or quotation marks): astronomy, Solar, stars, PGO- For example:

Initial visibility: currently defaults to collapsed
To set this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:
|state=collapsed:{{Universe navboxes|state=collapsed}}to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden apart from its title bar|state=expanded:{{Universe navboxes|state=expanded}}to show the template expanded, i.e., fully visible|state=autocollapse:{{Universe navboxes|state=autocollapse}}
If the |state= parameter in the template on this page is not set, the template's initial visibility is taken from the |default= parameter in the Collapsible option template. For the template on this page, that currently evaluates to collapsed.
