Usage
This template is placed at the top of the subcategory pages of Category:Redirects from sort names and Category:Redirects from ambiguous sort names. It requires as its first parameter, |1=
, or its second parameter, |2=
, the uppercase letter that comes at the end of the subcategory name. For the ambiguous-name categories, the third parameter, |3=ambig
may be used to slightly alter the text. As is common with unnamed parameters, those that are not used may be omitted or left empty.
- Examples
{{Redirect from sort name category|1=J}}
{{Redirect from sort name category||A|ambig}}
{{Redirect from sort name category|2=A|3=ambig}}
Parameter 3
The third parameter, |3=ambig
, will alter the text slightly to:
- "The pages in this category are redirects from ambiguous sort names to their appropriate target articles. Use uppercase capital letters in these parameters. To add a redirect to this category, place {{Rcat shell | {{R from ambiguous sort name |1=..."
