This template returns indicators for highlighting the result of open proxy checks. The template returns a different indicator depending on the parameter supplied, and is used in the format {{proxycheck|decision}}:

• {{proxycheck|complete}} gives  Completed
• {{proxycheck|confirmed}} gives IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|likely}} gives  Likely IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|unlikely}} gives  Unlikely IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|possible}} gives  Possible IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|blocked}} gives Open proxy blocked
• {{proxycheck|inconclusive}} gives Inconclusive
• {{proxycheck|notaproxy}} gives Not currently an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|decline}} gives  Declined to run a check

Failing to give a parameter returns an error message and a list of the possible values.

For convenience, many of these parameters have pseudonyms:

• |complete can also be |completed, |done, or |checked
• |confirmed can also be |open
• |notaproxy can also be |not or |unrelated
• |decline can also be |declined
