{{Proofreader needed}} may be added to newly translated pages that require proofreading, in order to provide an explanation to readers who are not yet familiar with Wikipedia:Translation, but are able to verify the translator's work. This template populates Category:Wikipedia articles needing cleanup after translation.
This template should not be substituted.
Syntax
{{Proofreader needed|ORIG-TITLE|LANG|what=TEXT}}
Positional parameters:
- ORIG-TITLE is the title of the article in its original language Wikipedia.
- LANG is the code that indicates which Wikipedia the original article is in, for example, ko for Korean, or es for Spanish. See the WP code in the List of Wikipedias.
Named parameters:
what– TEXT can be "section", "paragraph", or any string.
Example
The page Bremen City Hall was translated from Bremer Rathaus in the German Wikipedia.
The code added to the English page was:
