Usage

This template is intended to be used for showing a test of a color. For example, {{color test|#808000}} becomes          and {{color test|orange}} becomes         . This template differs from similar templates in that it does not take any parameters for text. It is intended only for (usually on talk pages) demonstrating a color. It could also be used on articles about colors.

This template can takes one additional parameters:

• size controls the width of the patch of color, for example {{color test|#850000|size=3}} becomes     and {{color test|#00FF00|size=14}} becomes               . The size number is the number of spaces in the template (using the {{spaces}} template). Each unit is this size:  .
