Template:Periodic table (micro)/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Periodic table (micro).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

The template shows a periodic table with small cells. Each cell is wikilinked to the element's article, and the background color is the category as used (commonly) on this wiki.

Usage

All parameters are optional.

Marking individual cells

Using the |mark= parameter can highlight individual cells. Use the chemical symbol, and separate by comma.

Extended periodic table

When number=119 or higher, the table is expanded with period 8. This |number= is not used in any other way, and does not mark an element.

Group 3 variants

Group 3: form options

`\|form=Sc, Y, La, Ac`	Group 3: IUPAC/WG alternative, 2020
`\|form=Sc, Y`	Group 3: Sc, Y only (3rd IUPAC/WG option)
`\|form=Sc, Y, , *`	Group 3: Sc, Y + 15x Ln, 15x An (old presentation form)
