Template:DistroWatch/doc

This template is used to generate external links to https://distrowatch.com. It is not appropriate for use in citations where a template such as {{cite web}} is preferred.

Example

To link the distrowatch page for Clear Linux found at https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=clear the following code is used:

• {{distrowatch|clear|Clear Linux}}
• Clear Linux at DistroWatch

The first parameter specify which page to link using the string that follows distribution= in the url and the second specify the display name. If no display name is given the page name is used.
