| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Rhr. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
rhr = right half ring, as in the Unicode character modifier letter right half ring. For transliteration of glottal stop (e.g. hamza, sometimes aleph) in Semitic languages. See also {{lhr}} (right half ring) for ⟨ʿ⟩ to transliterate ayin.
For clarity, {{hamza}} and {{ayin}} are preferred.
