The purpose of this template is to put disambiguation links at the top of year articles, such as [[{{CURRENTYEAR}}]]. It explains that the article is about the year and links to the number and a disambiguation page, if they exist. It also, currently, has space for up to three other disambiguations, such as car models, aircraft etc.<br />
