* This redirect category ([[WP:RCAT|rcat]]) template is used to tag any [[WP:Redirect pages|redirect page]] in any namespace that results when a page is [[WP:MERGE|merged]] into another page. This rcat populates {{Cat|Redirects from merges}}, which is used to track all page merges that might result in the breakage of links, both internal and external, if a redirect is not installed properly.
