This maintenance template should be placed at the top of any article which includes one or more sources, but where ''all'' of these sources are what Wikipedia considers to be patently [[WP:RS|unreliable]] (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, IMDb, Twitter, etc.). The person placing the tag does not need to have conducted a search to establish whether or not reliable sources actually exist. Once this article contains ''at least one'' bonafide reliable source, this template should be removed from it-- anyone may remove it, including the article's creator, if that condition has been met.<br />

Note that an article that has ''no'' reliable sources is not the same as one which has sources, ''some'' of which are unreliable (in which case the {{tl|Unreliable sources}} template is more appropriate), nor is it completely unreferenced (a situation which is covered by the {{tl|Unreferenced}} template).<br />

This maintenance tag should not be used as an alternative to initiating a deletion discussion for non-notable subjects. If an editor conducts a reasonable search for reliable sources ''and cannot find at least two'', '''the article is likely appropriate for deletion '''.
