==Purpose==
The {{tl|Moved discussion to}} and {{tl|Moved discussion from}} tags are related to {{tl|Resolved}}, but are meant to be placed at the top of sections on [[Help:Using talk pages|talk pages]] and other discussions, to indicate when a discussion has been moved elsewhere. It serves as a reminder for editors not to add any more to the discussion, except at its new location, unless strictly necessary.

Place the following under the topic heading on a talk page:

If a discussion is long, it should be removed from its original location (except for the heading and this template) after it is moved, or at least archived.
