This template is to be used on images on Commons that are locally uploaded and protected for being high-risk, to warn unaware admins that the image should not be unprotected or deleted.<br />

The reason for protection should be specified using {{para|reason}}. If the image on Commons is under a different name for some reason, that may be specified using {{para|image}}.<br />
<br />
To exclude the {{tl|keep local}} message, set the parameter {{para|keeplocal}} to "no".<br />
