This template provides a standard formatted response to a [[WP:3O]] request.

==Usage==

The behaviour of this template changes depending on whether one or two unnamed parameters are included. See the following usage scenarios:

Full use, repeating the original request:

Shorter use, with only a text reply:
<nowiki>{{subst:3OR | 1=<response> }}</nowiki>

Use to set a temporary placeholder:
<nowiki>{{subst:3OR | 1=wait | 2=<optional text of opinion requested> }}</nowiki>

A signature will be added automatically.

Note, the response text can be multi-line with bullets and indenting as you see fit. The response text will be slightly indented but preserve the standard layout options you add.

*While the unnamed parameters <code>1=</code> needn't be named always like how it's shown here, it does prevent the template from breaking in some instances. Say, if the text argument contains "=", it would not function. This can be unintentionally added when trying to add links to diffs, revisions and some external links.
