==Use==
Use this template for Greek words for which the ''Ancient Greek'' description is not satisfactory or limiting. Such words can be:
*Words of [[Koine Greek|''Koine'' Greek]] such as {{lang-grc-gre|κράββατος}} (''krábbatos'', "bed").
*Words of Late Antiquity and [[Atticism|Atticist]] words of [[Byzantine literature]], such as {{lang-grc-gre|ἀθεμιτογαμία}} (''athemitogamíā'', "unlawful marriage").
*Names, such as {{lang-grc-gre|Αγησίλαος}} (''Agēsílaos'', "Agesilaus") and {{lang-grc-gre|Σωκράτης}} (''Sōkrátēs'', "Socrates").
*Hellenized Latin and Hebrew names, such as {{lang-grc-gre|Ἰουστινιανός}} (Justinian), {{lang-grc-gre|Αὐρήλιος}} (Aurelius) and {{lang-grc-gre|Ἰωσήφ}} (Joseph).  
*Words that have remained unchanged throughout the history of the [[Greek language]] such as {{lang-grc-gre|θάλασσα}} (''thálassa'', "sea") and {{lang-grc-gre|ἄνθρωπος}} (''ánthrōpos'', "man"). Their meaning may be the same.
*Newly coined scientific (or not) words from Ancient Greek roots, such as ''[[haemophilia]]'' and ''[[astronaut]]''.
